What I mean by that is while I have become more conscious of the importance to love myself so I can better love others, I find it so hard to put down that Ego consistently enough I can perform from the Unconditional Love place while keeping that Ego at an arms length away. We all do it. We are able to put on a face in situations where we know we have to behave a certain way but are we really doing it out of true love?
I watch the progress my fellow friends are making in the Twinflame path and other similiar Spiritual Paths and I am just amazed and inspired by how some stay so consistent in living from their heart space no matter who they are surrounded by or what circumstances they are facing. They just amaze me with their vigilence to speak about love to all people and their ability to find LOVE in situations that really seem lacking any at all.
We truly always have a choice. We really do despite what one may think on the matter. We can not control who is around us but we can control how we respond. I think change becomes difficult when we are too afraid of what others think and too afraid that if we let go and stop responding to others based on thier consciousness and ability to love and respond in what we know should be only Unconditional Love then we can enact the change we really want to see and the love we want to receive merely by being the vessel of love at all times. I think most of us know this but it's just maintaining that expression of God/Source.
In doing that we have to allow God/Source to flow through us. We have to maintain that connection to God/Source which comes from trust. Trusting in opening our hearts and trusting that no matter what responses we get from others around us that it truly is only love in all of it's expressions even if on the outside it appears to be judgment. We are all , in the end, an expression of God and all of our behavior comes out of love at the core , however, not always how it is perceived or performed. Many times it seems judgmental, negative and just plain nasty.
Everyone receives God/Source/Spirit in the way they understand based on their human experience should that be the only thing they choose to understand. When we open up our hearts and minds to more than we can experience with our senses, we then gain a wider lense to perceive and experience. The judgment turns will turn into acceptance which then turns into understanding and finally, love in it's highest form.
Even if we don't agree and accept every belief system, you can see the love and passion at the pulpit in many churches and other spiritual places as Spirtual Leaders and others who are attempting to teach the word of God/Source, do so through their own ability to love, accept and understand. Their followers are there because they resonate with the message just like you may follow a path or leader OR have social networking friends/groups you resonate with and others you do not. At times you may feel like you change your thinking with who you relate to as you gain more understanding about what you perceive in your daily life. Each day we gain more knowledge or we begin to understand knowledge we receive through Spirit. As we cross paths with people and situations, that knowledge, may begin to make more sense and allow those who are still finding their "way" to find their place in life and their place of love.
It's a great deal of work to act without Ego. While the Ego does have a place in our human life, it sometimes becomes the only way to live. Acting out of love requires us to step outside of our Ego- space to allow our heart to lead. When we are in the face of a challenge, responding in a place of love yields a far better outcome in the long run. Our Ego would rather protect us from the hurt but in understanding that only our Ego gives us the perception of being "hurt" or "offended" while our heart place reminds us it's an act of love based on ones own understanding of their knowledge at the moment.
Remembering in every exchange in our daily lives that it is ok to speak and behave from your heart. You are safe to do so and you will be rewarded as every time we respond in love we open ourselves up to receiving exactly what we put out into the world. Does the other person deserve it, you say? The question is, do they understand your expectation of love if you, yourself, haven't modeled it?
The Universe reflects back what you put out. Every person deserves love in it's highest form, including you. As you learn to live from your Heart Space and Unconditional Love, so will you receive that which you have put out. <3
